[Poll] PR:Z Like / Dislike

We're half through the Open Beta so I would like to get some feedback as most people don't bother posting, perhaps a poll will help.
Options:
I enjoyed playing PR:Z even when I was on the zombie team
I enjoyed playing PR:Z but not as a zombie
I disliked playing PR:Z - Please post why
I couldn't play PR:Z because the server was full
Could a moderator please create the poll?
cheers

I've been enjoying it so far. Fun to play with people you know and/or rolling with strangers. I keep forgetting the pickup kit system, but otherwise have been destroying more enemy heads than when I eat jelly babies
Hopefully, I'll find time to play more of the beta before it ends.
Cheers, Murkey.

Uh a lot of people voting that they didn't get to play cause the server was full.
I suggest you try and join early. There are sometimes players there 1 hour before the event even started... And the other "issue" is that some players like PR:Z so much that they're there every night. So they're taking most of the slots on the server instead of new players. Not saying it's a bad thing though... we enjoy having fans

OONIIIL my portuguese amigo.
Didnt have the chance to play it yet but i'm sure as hell that you did a great job.
One thing though, will there be a mode without zombies? And a different map? Because i really had a lot of fun playing PvP on Ramiel without the zombies.
Onil, you are doing great. Kee up the good work!

I will organize SGE's again. Some with zombies, some without.
And we will eventually make game-modes with no zombies. Survivors group versus survivors group.

I also voted for I enjoyed playing even as a zombie. I was actually quite surprised, I thought playing as a zombie would be a chore and would be pretty boring until you could join the survivors again. But I actually had a lot of fun playing as a zombie! You really have to work together as well, but it's a lot of fun.

I really enjoy PR:Z its amazingly fun. I was late to work due to the enjoyment. I would like this mini-mod be part of PR ASAP if possible so PR just like COD(i HATE cod now) has a Zombie Mode. I do suggest more players if possible and more maps like Iron Ridge and Dragon Fly due to the way the map is made it would fit the setting which is dark and gloomy

I disliked is since I think a zombie mod shouldn't be associated with something called Project Reality. I think it only takes away players from already a very small community than it attracts new people to the community. I think the effort could better be put in for example a CE3 zombie mod, PR2 or just BF2

R.
This is my personal opinion.

lol, this guy ^
I really enjoyed playing this minimod. Had really fun playing with you guys and surprisingly I enjoyed playing as a zombie, especially when we moved out as a herd and seeing the survivors panic haha
Keep up the good work!

That same exact argument was repeated time and time again when DayZ was gaining popularity. People thought that the regular Arma servers would be filled with people not working together because they got the game for DayZ. But the truth is that a majority of people who bought Arma for DayZ only played DayZ. Even if they did try out regular servers they quickly realized it wasn't the type of game play they wanted and stopped playing.

There was already a poll about who was in favor or against a PR Zombie mod, and this isn't it. I'm sure you already voted your dislike there... There is no need to do it here specially since the questions in this poll are directed at the ones who tried it, as in actually played it. Which I'm sure is not your case since I haven't seen you in the server.
And your issue with "zombies" being associated with a "reality" based mod is in my opinion absurd. Many things in PR are unrealistic for the sake of game-play. Zombies are for game-play sake too and are not that far stretched if you look at modern diseases and their symptoms. You can see it as a fictional thing, similar to the fictional factions in PR.
Either way, this is not the place for that discussion. This poll is for the ones who actually played PR:Z or wanted to try it but couldn't get in the server.

Just played a few minutes, however no weapons due to no admins being on. Looks like it would be like a lot of fun when there are many people/weapons present though, will have to try to get on when there are admins online sometime!

didn't like playing as a zombie as the zombies never grouped up to kill the humans. Plus it was too difficult with the availability of weapons.

So basically, what you're saying is: zombies should work together more. Only then will they have great chances of defeating the humans.
Right?
I understand it can be very hard to fight humans when you're all alone - or maybe with two of you. Groups, now THAT can make it all the more interesting.

I even liked it as zombie, because we grouped up (about 4-5 zombies) and were going out to hunt down those lonesome roaming survivors. Worked pretty well!
As one went on the very top of the crane, we all climbed up together. He tried to shoot as, but we were too many and so he jumped down the crane into his death

Funny moments!

You should definitely try it out, Pronk.
PR is about teamwork, not realism. And PR:Z has the same spirit. You have to communicate and work together with other players and work with or against them in a dynamic team structure, with squads and people walking together changing all the time. That requires even more emphasis on communcation and awareness than normal PR, so this boosts normal PR instead of 'taking players and making evil new mod that kills normal PR'.
As a zombie, teamwork is a MUST. It is reall fun to team up the strong and the fast zombies, then send in the fast zombies to attract the players into the traps that you set up with the strong zombies. Works pretty good. On the first day of beta, I killed a player after like 5 minutes, so it really works, and even wounding gives you points, so it's really not that hard.

Do keep in mind that this is still a WIP, we're still tweaking the humanity system as to moderate player attitudes and make teamwork a necessity.
But over-all I would say that the majority of individual players that joins the PR:Z server do end teaming up and supporting each-other, not just because of being in the same squad, but often because of running into each-other and being for the most part friendly.
However, you can't trust everyone, and as Nate said, it adds a dynamic structure to teaming up that can be quite fun. It is our objective to improve it in that direction as much as possible.
