We're going to be waiting to film the Al Basra "movie" till after the 0.41 release. This will also allow us the ability to promote a lot of the current features being put into the game for this coming release.

It's going to be amazingly realistic, and something we can all be proud of. Consider it the "black hawk down" of BF2. There are a few other surprises that I can't talk about yet but just be excited.... I know we are.

You have no idea how stoked I've been to see this movie man! My excitement's at a breaking point! Can you maybe give us another trailer or something in the meantime? Obviously it won't be a proper trailer as you haven't done any pre-production yet. But I'm sure you've been working on some ideas.... got any game footage you feel like editing a bit to give us another taste? I mean, your last trailer rocked. And obviously I'm not telling you to go do some work you don't wanna do. But if you are already doing some messing around like this, would you want to share?

My excitement levels aside, it makes good strategic sense, from the publicity end. And what's most important at the end of the day is full servers, right?

WE WILL BE DOING A PUBLIC FILMING SESSION TODAY USING THE CURRENT VERSION.. which I will use to compile a lot of footage that I can use... so stand by for details.

Ive been working the last 48 hours trying to get it working maistros, ive been running into some problems. I may be able to release the new version within a few hours if I can figure out wtf is going wrong!

OK new version is almost ready for download, what server are you using maistros because the server will need the maplist updated.

Also this version has reduced alot, if not all of the lag promblem.

The VIDEO MAP will be loaded onto GLORYHOUNDZ SOUTH after the tournie and the password will be "teamwork"

MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT OVERWRITE YOUR REGULAR ALBASRA MAP!

Just follow the instructions for the map, the regular albasrah that came with .4, move it and renames it to something like "albasrahORIGIONAL" and make sure the downloaded version is in the right place!
