We've recently decided to focus all our efforts on the infantry side of the faction and go with placeholder vehicles for now, we still want to export our custom vehicles but at a later date, when the infantry version of the faction is done and released.
Why not include both 2A6 and 2A4 now that 2015 onwards both will be in operative use in FDF?

reading the thread, looks like the turret needs some remodelling for the A6 version (although this being done would benefit multiple factions). The model is currently in A4 mode.

Hey, Sako TRG-42 (PL version)
I'm pretty sure Yours model is finished at the same level or better. We have made only geom0 model with texture, without geom1 and LOD. From what I've seen on the screenshots, FDF Sako TRG-42 model has better quality, normal map has been baked from high poly model. Long time ago I've asked Psyrus to make geom1 and LOD for Your model. Is it finished, or have you exported version with geom0 as geom1?

Our (the one made by Ukkis) TRG-42 still needs LODs and export, we have the PL version ingame as a placeholder.

So what needs to be finished to run this faction? I have feeling like list from first post is not actual, as far as I know:
- RK 95 TP is in game;
- Patria AMV is in game more or less;
- We know the status of Leopard 2a4
- CV9030, is it necessary, or CV9035 will do the work? It has only different cannon.
- reskins could be easly done;
- does SISU needs higer poly interior? is it being worked on? maybe this is part where community could help.
I don't have currently time to help, asking because it feels like this thread could get update.

the CV9020 and the CV9035 are quite different, the model the Finns have been working on needs LODs, UV, Texture and Export.

RK62 is ingame, RK95TP modeller disappeared and the model is WIP, Patria AMV is currently being exported, Leo 2 as well, We have a CV9030 model (yes it differs a lot from the dutch 35 version like H.sta said), Sisu XA-180 doesn't have an interior and the model needs a lot of fixing to make it work (probably have to re-do it).
Only things absolutely necessary for an 'Infantry-layout' are the truck (need LODs and export), kit geometries (need some small finishing before export) and... that's pretty much it.
We just don't have the manpower anymore.

Sounds like we are just a few re-skins away of seeing a full fledged mechanized combat group roll down the fields
To make texture is anything else than a picture editor needed?

Textures need to be in .dds format, so I think as long as you have some way to convert a photoshop file or any other image file type to this format I think any editor can be used. I personally use photoshop cs2 and downloaded a wizard that allowed me to convert my photoshop files to this format.
