Ok, under the Direction of [R-PUB]Maistros the 'filming' for a PR promo video will take place tonight. The following is all you need. Its simple to setup and please all do your best to attend to make this movie awsome!

Please reply if you are going to be there. We need to know how many.


Timing: Start time may vary due to the tournament being before and depends on how long that goes on for. Ther following times are when the server is expected to be up and running the new map and you should be ready to join with the new map.

This is a reworked and specailly tweaked version made especially for the fimling of this video. There has been a great reduction in lag that people had so It should now run smoothly for those who had trouble before.

Instructions for installation (VERY EASY )

Make sure you backup the origional albasrah you remove and rename it to 'albasrahREGULAR' or something

this will not affect your working Project Realtiy in any way, its totally safe, etc!

SGT.Collado, Reporting for Duty!!! Can you put a server up with that map so I can practice or something.

PS= Question about the new map, and installation:

The old albasrah, what do I do with it???
Do I just rename it inside the PR levels folder? (albasrahREGULAR)
Or do I have to remove it completely from the pr levels folder?
How do I 'backup' the old albasrah, and where would I put that folder?

You can rename it and keep it in the levels folder, it would probably work, but just to be sure move it out, anywhere, mydocuments or desktop or something.

THanks, I think I've got it.
Although , I didnt move it anywhere, I renamed the old albasrah to albasrahORIGINAL, and kept it in the levels folder. Along with the new albasrah video map.


Can you put this map up for a bit today, maybe now, so we can go over some stuff?

FOR Those of you in the UK we WILL be filming during the day tomorrow also.

It's a bit late, but I will be around for a few hours.

Please oh PLEASE don't tell me that the next lag reduced version of Basrah will have this sky texture, I hope this is only for the movie cause this sky texture looks aweful compared to the old one.
