where to find bf2 cd key

is the cd key stored in some file in the bf2 directory as i have lost my manuel.

It is stored in the windows registry not in a folder.
Here's the path for win64 - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2\ergc
For win32 - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2\ergc

Open the launcher
Go to the "Support" option
Go to the "Keys" tab
???
