Hey PR community

I have been working on my first PR map (and first Bf2 editor map for that sake) for 2 days and I find the current way to select objects that would fit in really tiresome.

I am wondering if there exists a object libary or browser that does not require me to switch between the different editors to view objects, much like hammers object browser and the arma communities object lists.


(I may also just be spoiled by those two and should just get used to it over time)

Not really tbh. You can right click on an object in the list and hit preview. Generally you should also only use objects from the same kinda folder as they use the same textures, as per here: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f189-m ... mance.html

you get to know the statics after a while. some of them might still become hard to find sometimes ;(
Normally the first thing I do in a new map when placing statics is search the folders and place every object I think fits in the enviroment.
then I have a library where i can just copy paste from.

Contains image's for vanilla statics. Wasnt made by me and I couldnt find the original link, but found the archive on my hard drive after some digging.

As far as I am aware of, nobody made something like this for PR's statics

EDIT: Also it doesnt contain expansion/booster pack statics (i.e. "xp1" folder). However it does contain leftover statics from DICE in all their unfinished glory

Thanks a ton, that will help ease the learning curve

I am using a north european setting so my use of folders will be limited I hope. I am also aware of the doomed statics list that rhino made.

Now just to cope with the huge scale
