Is there anyway to replace the APC with a bradley. Bradley carries just as many troops has more armor and in my eyes is a all around better vehicle. The LAV/APC is only really used by the marines now and is actually being phased out. and replaced with the brad because of the fact it can be ran with normal armor or "uparmor" capabilities adding about 25,000 pounds to it in armor upgrades (REALLY SUCKS PUTTING IT ON BTW)
here is a pick of me in my brad in iraq..
And what i like to call my Benz

Dont mean to sound like a prick and stuff , but do you have any evidence that the USMC is switching to the Bradleys?

considering over the past 2 years they have been training on them im pretty sure they are moving over to them. Matter of fact we left 10 of our brads in iraq for a Marine unit to take over because their LAV's were being demolished by rpg's.

We would have to model ourselves or borrow from another mod a Bradley model. We are aware that only the Marines use the LAV-25, and that it is actually used as a scout vehicle and not a true APC/IFV.
I have not heard that it is being phased out, however. They are right now undergoing an up-armoring process at MCB Quantico, so it seems like a waste, and the Marines have never to my knowledge had an interest in the Bradley before, because of its limited swim ability. Perhaps the Marines were training on the Bradley to get ready to use the new EFVs?

Screw uparmor, give me reactive anyday. Next time some smuck throws a hand grenade at your vehicle they'll get 90 pounds of directed C4 to their face

wouldn't do PRM any harm to replace the Marines with the Army
ACU, M4s, Apaches and Bradleys

What would be the MEC/PLA equivalent? Would there be one? BMP-3 for MEC maybe. I dunno...
Can't have the U.S getting all the goodies can we, right now everybody switches to them for the M4. Don't give them another reason to switch. *sigh*

the BMP3 is a fairly good opponent to the M2A2. The Chinese will just have to work without

It would be aysymetric warfare though, the BMP-3 is a very different beast to the Bradley IFV as it's coaxel gun is bigger than the Bradley's primary and it has 27hp per ton compared to the Bradley's 19 or so. However, I believe the BMP-3 has inferior armour compared to the Bradley.
Essentially It would be mobility and firepower for the BMP-3 where as the Bradley sacrifices these for protection. It would be an interesting comparison to see which would come out on top.
Also, its pretty realistic that the MEC would use BMP-3's as they are in service with Kuwait, Syria and the UAE.

I already made a topic bout this, a month ago or so.
I s2 m2a2

Really, would be so nice to have it in-game. Not replacing the lav, but leaving the LAV for amphibious assault maps and the bradley for urban/desert maps.
To get an equivalent for the other armys, well, we got the BMP3 from SF, doesn't even need so many tweaks (except for the new system right? I mean, freezing the turret and stuff). For china, hell if I know, but for some time might just keep the current APC against it. It'll sure be faster than the bradley hehe.

For gameplay reasons i think the LAV sucks due to lack of armour (in real life) and overpowered weapons. A armoured humvee, AAV would be more suitable in terms of balanced weapons, armour and troop carrying capability.
I dont want it to go but just rather see it in alot less maps.
