The new recent update to Project Reality 1.1.6.0 is continually crashing for me. It gets to 89% every time and then the update progress bar just closes and PR doesn't finish updating. I've tried it literally 20 times and it keeps doing this every time. I have all my firewalls off so they are not interfering with the update process. Is this happening for anyone else?

\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\bin\PRUpdater.log

It might say something useful there, but if it's crashing out, it may not

Antivirus, maybe? Permissions error (seems unlikely).

Edit: Oh!!! Someone else did have a similar thing when they were running out of hard disk space.

Well I have over 1tb of free space on a 2tb drive so I doubt that is the problem haha. I did think it was a permissions error as well so I tried running both PRLaucher.exe and PRUpdate.exe as administrator. Still nothing, so then I did a little experiment last night. It appears that the file C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\levels\korengal\server.zip is the file that at 89% causes the update crash for me.

I decided to see what would happen if I removed that file. When I removed server.zip the update went all the way through but then at the very end during the file verification process an error message comes up with the following message. "76: Update Failed. Error validating file integrity after update. C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\levels\korengal\server.zip" So the update never finishes. So I put server.zip back into the korengal folder. I then thought maybe server.zip was for some reason set to read only and the update couldn't access it and write in new data so I checked it and it was set to read only while other zip files in that folder were not. I unchecked the read only box hoping it would now work but it still is crashing at 89%. I believe now that maybe my \korengal\server.zip file is corrupted because I tried adding in a blank text file to see if it is indeed not actually read only now and I got a write error for that file using Winrar. If someone could post their copy of \korengal\server.zip I would greatly appreciate it.
