Hello all,

After taking a very long break from the shoot'em up gaming world I am back! I bought BF2 again off the origin site, installed PR without a hitch.. Now I join a server and a squad & start running around doin work. But I cannot seem to get the damn mic to register with the game. When I press the default "B" button nothing pops up. the BF2VOIP mic setup registers nothing, & the in-game mic test for PR & vBF2 register nothing. I have looked at different posts regarding this issue but the ones available were not any help to myself. I am able to talk on TS, Vent, and even the dreadful and irritating BF4 game. This problem is only subject to the BF2 platform.

Please help!

numberpad 0 for Squad radio.
H key for local proximity chat.

Start with those for now.

That didn't work. At least the "H" mic icon is actually popping up. Still nobody can hear me, & the Mic test still isn't working.

I just reinstalled all of my sound drivers, restarted the game, & now it works just fine.
