Good day all,
I have just finished installing PR (bf2) and now updating it. My current speed is avg 30 KB/s, any tips on increasing the speed?
Just did a Download test (51Mbps), so i highly doubt it's my internet. More information:
I live in Australia
Tried disabling AV
Run as admin

Umm, the server is also in the middle of the US I think, you should be dl'ing at around 2.5Mbps , ...

Might want to ping test it.

If your antivirus or router's antivirus has deep packet inspection or HIPS, try turning that off.
If you don't know if your AV or router's firewall has it, tell us what AV and router and we'll give suggestions.

Sounds like you're shaped to 256kbps... gone over your limit perchance?

I'm currently getting a ping of 221ms avg.
MY router/modem is, 'Netgear CG3000 v2'
The AV I'm using is, "Avast Free"[

I'm getting ultimate download/upload usage, and my download speed is currently:

P.S, The update finished after a long 10 hours and unknown amount of sleep. I'm still trying to figure it out though, for future reference.
