Should I enable UpNp (Universal Plug n Play) (It's a setting on modem/routers)
I heard it helps open ports JUST for the game/applications on your pc, game console, ect.
Or will it make PR laggy as dog poo. (Not that bad, but maybe bird poop)
I enabled it and I played BF4 on my PS4, used to have tons of lag, now I dont'.
So will it do the same w/ PC?

Universal Plug and Play means your PC will be able to automatically identify, set up, and install drivers for the Modem/reuter after you plug the device in and boot the PC up. If the modem/router is already set up and running there's no need to turn that feature on or off. On the other hand if you were to use the modem/router for a different PC you may want to utilize it to save the effort of doing it manually.
About the ports; I believe those are in reference to com ports (communication ports) (com1 - com5) old legacy ports for mouse keyboard, etc. Since we use USB now and most if not all PCs use universal plug and play I wouldn't be bothered by it.
To give you an idea of what's going on, unplug your USB mouse. you'll probably hear a tone sound and a message at your task bar saying a device has been unplugged. Plug it back in and the same thing happens but this time a message appears saying a device has been plugged in. Some hardware like the modem and graphic cards need a reboot for plug and play to become reactive.
Cool?
