Recently scrolling through some old PR images I came to think, why did you remove the rank icons that used to show up next to the name tag and on the squadscreen? IMO they were pretty neat.

It would really help squad leaders identify what they're dealing with in terms of experience, I'd vouch for its return just for that.

Yeh those. Just been wondering if it would be able to add them only to the SL and maybe according to the kit, also to the grunts. With some tweaking and changing ofc, no need to display the vBF2 rank.

The profiles are going to get reset soon, so maybe then it might work. Then again, it could discriminate against newcomers TBH, I always like them coming around, we were all them once.

Obviously not an edit: OOOOH SEVEN GATES, PLEASE DEVS PLEASE? I CAME IN 0.96 AND COULD NOT EXPERIENCE THE GLORY OF SUCH A BEAUTIFUL LOOKING MAP! ME WANT TO SIEGE CASTLE WITH APCs N STUFF!

One of the reasons is that the names currently don't always show up, and you mostly identify people by using the map and clicking on their player icon.

Are there actually any 3D icons left in PR?

I can see 3d icons when I bring my map up sometimes (SL numbers are super apparent), and I can see nametags like the old times when I command and mess around with my map bringing it up and down. They seem to still be there, I believe they are used to show map positions possibly?

no, we simply can't hide them for 100%.

I been playing for almost a decade and barely recognize most people.

I would definitely like class icons next to names. Even new status so you know which players need guidance.
