Custom maps Crash

Hi well im new here soo i dont know if this is the right site for this kind of problem...
I have a problem with Battlefield 2 v1.5,i cant play any custom maps when I download any single map put it in "BF2/mods/" folder and open the game i go to Community and press Custom maps the map appears there but when I try to activate the map it says that i have to restart BF2 i press Yes it closes the game and tryies to reopen it then a black screen comes up (as usual) it stays like that for 3 sec and crashes to desktop and nothing happens...I dont know what to do
I hope the description was helpful and that I find a fix for this problem.
