Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong forum, but I really like to play Battlefield 2/Project Reality with my friends in lan. But after the new update my Battlefield 2 stopped to work, I can still play PR, but BF2 I can't. Someone had passed by the same problem? How can I fix this thread? I've reinstalled the game 3 times and always after update to 1.1.6 my Battlefield stop to work.

I have the Battlefield 2 Complete Collection (ORIGIN).
When I start the task manager and type bf2.exe, one eror message appears: mods/bf2/shaders/staticmesh.fx not found or something like this...
I've tried the BF2cleaner too and it didn't work...

Your problem is actually a luxury or non-issue to most here on the help forum as you can still play PR....and you do know that BF2 itself is all but dead? PR being the only viable reason to even own BF2. But if you do need it for a lan then why not reinstall the whole lot. But do try BF2 single player first off before installing the updates to be sure. Or better yet to save from maybe mugging PR up, Keep your original install for playing PR and make a new install folder for BF2 only. Just redirect it by changing the name/path.
