So I just burned through my 6th G400S mouse in a year. Cord issues in all of them. Logitech stopped sending me replacements after the fourth.

I need a mouse with 2 thumb buttons, a thumb rest, optical sensor, DPI of 1000, and I want scroll wheel buttons that can be independently assigned functions. Not just dpi +/-.

Any brand is fine as long as the mouse is of decent quality.

You can buy replacement cords direct from China.
Costs like US$13 for two cords.

Have you considered investing in a high-quality cordless mouse as it seems you're doing something to damage them. I've been using my MX518 for over 3 years now with no noticeable wear on anything but the feet of it.
