1.2 Stinger's beep sound

After the latest update the beep sound of the Stinger is disappeared. And now how can i know when pull the trigger on the enemy jets and helicopters?

afaik this bug is known and will be fixed in next version, I think the weapon itself still works it's just the audio that isn't working

It's already fixed for the next version. Indeed, the weapon works even without a tone.

This is the third thread about it, the second one was mine, lol.

IIRC the way with highest hit rate is to just dumbfire the AA missile.

I have always wondered how the MANPADS work IRL, how the shooter knows the aircraft has been locked ?
