Error 1212 help?

Okay I recently reinstalled PR and I got error 1212 when updating, so I went to forum and found this for fixing the issue:

I followed every steps in the forum but I couldn't quite understand how to do step 4, am I suppose to move the files to "update download location"? (which I did)

I haven't updated that post in a long time.

To save you time, please post your system specs:
Open PRlauncher->SUpport->Click the 'Copy to Clopboard' button.
Paste everything in this thread.

We have some cumulative update patches available which is probably the best option for you. But I need to know which version of PR you have installed currently.

Please be aware you are running out of hard drive space:
Free: 6.16 GB,
First, set your Windows computer date to March 1st, 2014.

Next download and install this:

http://files.ancientdev.com/updates/prb ... ch.prpatch

http://files.ancientdev.com/updates/prbf2_1.0.29.0_to_1.1.0.0_client_patch.prpatch
then download and install this:

http://files.ancientdev.com/updates/prb ... ch.prpatch

Code: Select all

files.ancientdev.com/updates/prbf2_1.1.1.0_to_1.1.4.0_client_patch.prpatch
That will get you up to version 1.1.4.0
You should be able to autoupdate after that.

After you're up to the newest version, return your Windows date to today's date.

Um how do I exactly install it, like do I just have to move the files to update download file location?

The file type .prpatch is already associated to be opened by PRLauncher.exe.

So just double click the prbf2_1.0.29.0_to_1.1.0.0_client_patch.prpatch file. It should start PRLauncher and PRLaunchewr will begin the update patching.

Then do it again for the prbf2_1.1.1.0_to_1.1.4.0_client_patch.prpatch file.

Well when I double clicked it it gave me this instead:

Window cannot open this file:

File: prbf2_1.0.29.0_to_1.1.0.0_client_patch .prpatch

To open this file, Windows needs to know what program you want to use to open it. Window can go online to look it up automatically, or you can manually select from a list of programs that are installed on your computer.

What do you want to do?

-Use the web service to find the correct program
-select a program from a list of installed programs

NO NEED TO DOWNLOAD THE ENTIRE ISO!!

I was tired, well I am tired still...
I made a small mistake:

-select a program from a list of installed programs

go find this and associate it:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\bin\PRUDPATER.exe

You associate the .prpatch files with PRUpdater.exe , not PRLauncher.exe
