Lighting looks nice, but you only see it in one environment. I would want to see how it would look in a forest or a desert
I'm a little suspicious though- how can he pause in multiplayer? It seems fishy

The server can indeed be paused in MP. Seen it happen many times, way back when.

It could work on specific type of weather. Like heavy fog maybe.

BF2 can be paused - just press "P"

I'll experiment and post more results

I didn't know all soldiers use video camera's as eyes.
I really dislike lensflare. Specially the one like yours where it seems like your eyes have dirt on them.
Games have lens flare to give them a cinematic feeling(in which it's often ok), PR isn't one of those games IMO.

Oh! I didnt see the "dirt" on the screen, I was looking at the lighting only. Yes its not a good idea for PR.

I edited a dds. file and made the lens flare

It's far from realism, but it makes the game (like Mineral said) look more cinematic and stylish. I kept the flare subtle so that it was too intrusive

Either video camera or fairly scratched-up goggles?

Didn't know all soldiers had glasses on. You know what I mean. Lensflare has nothing to do with glasses. it's about the cinematic effect and somehow gamers now want it everywhere. And I wear glasses, I know what it looks like

it's not something that we would want in PR, but if there's someone wanting to make some machinima or somethign then they should check ur project out
unless there is scope for it to be used on certain tank sights but I doubt it

One thing I've been curious about is the sun flare in BF2
When you look at the sun flare direction in a level, what makes the dds. file to load? Hard to explain but I would prefer it if the screen effect occurred only when you looked directly into the sun.
Is this possible to do?
Also, certain sun flares I've created go straight through buildings. Why is that
