There aren't any relevant maps for MEC woodland textures, but I thought I'd share this anyway:


I felt somewhat inspired and started having some ideas, so I put a couple of hours into making these skins. I did my best to match the camo to be as close as possible to the original woodland textures.

I'll probably end up making some new woodland soldiers as well just so it looks more consistent. I already have PSDs so it wouldn't take up too much time.

Now that's pretty cool. Maybe it can't be used right now, but who knows what will come in the next release.

You've got some serious talent mate.
To be honest, I would like to see these kits' textures being used together with the desert uniform. The idea of having mixed camos is pretty cool, and has been done plenty of times in desert landscapes in real life.

Yeah, I kind of like how the desert kits are mixed with woodland uniform. But I'd love to see these with desert uniform in all the other maps.

Couldn't it be used on Operation Marlin?

Great job! I think they definitly should replace the original MEC kit textures, becouse it's not easy to see the difference between the MEC soldier and US marine even for experienced players.

That's awesome! I'm working on a mountainous woodland map, inspired by the valleys in pakistan (still modifying terrain tho). I have both MEC and PLA in mind for factions.
