Are we allowed to use SF maps?

If so, i think some of their maps would work out in PR, specifically Ghost Town

Yep, but the insurgents should have Banzai ATVs, when you press the horn it plays the Rebel music and blows up with just a click.

Wouldn't this be a violation every liscence agreement around? Or would you have to have the SF expansion to play?

PR has permission to use content from expansion/booster packs for BF2, Which is why we have the HK53, HK21, SCAR, etc...

the maps are WAYYY too small for PRM

agreed. PR Map style needs to change with PR gameplay. The vanilla maps will feel quite outdated after the next few patches and PR map packs, if they dont already for you.

Im fairly certain we can use Booster weapons, etc. because they are available in vBF2 files. To use entire maps, i do believe we'd need everyone playing to have the XPack

Not neccesarily. Ive seen mods that allow people to play euro forces without paying for it, or getting it from EA Downloader; maps and all.

A few SF maps would be great here is my opnion about then:
Devils Perch:this map would be perfetc with the Breaktrough gameplay against Insurgents

Ghost town: to much vanilla for me i woudnt add

Iron gator: The Carrier static could be good for some Xtract misson with 16 players


Leviatan: This might work like a infantary AAs map

Mass destrucion: another vanila like map i woudnt add

Night Flight: this one would be great for a Xtract mission

Surge: to much vanilla

Warlod: My favorite SF map, could be changed to AAS

Not sure about porting over the maps to PR, but I'm all for pillaging there content. Such as their statics, maybe a few vehicles.

I agree with him on all but one. Iron gator was fun on Nilla, but it should stay on Nilla.
However,i prefere the realistic sized Aircraft carriers. Maybe we could repace the old ones with them ;) .
Like Rip out the Old Oman one and put in tthe more realisticly sized carrier from iron gator.
