All Seeing Eye?

Hey,
Considering the in-game browser sucks (and sometimes causes the game to freeze up), I wanted to use the All Seeing Eye... but it doesn't seem to work (just launches the game and nothing more).
I don't really want to use Game$py.
Any ideas?

AFAIK no third party browser works including Gamespy.
http://www.battlefieldfrontlines.com/fo ... hp?t=90171 Has a work around for BF2. I haven't tried it personally but from skimming a few posts it looks like it works pretty well. Hopefully the first patch will fix the problem so work arounds won't be needed.

Good, because I can't believe how **** the in-game browser is:
-Delay on every action.
-Sorting servers by Ping or Players rarely works properly, especially after first attempting to get onto a server and failing.
-Pings often listed as 0.
-No retry action, if a server is full.
-Randomly causes the game to freeze.
They really couldn't have made it any crappier. One step backwards would mean no in-game browser at all.

A patch is expected to be released next week which should fix these issues:
issues that caused the Multiplayer Browser to become unresponsive, an issue where some game controls were not available to be rebound within the Options menu, and fixed a crash with rebinding LMB. An open Beta of the Battlefield 2 Editor will be released some time in July, and the linux server is almost finished as wel.

Did they actually bother to test the game?
Don't get me wrong, BF2 is a superb game, but multiplayer is often tarnished by problems trying to find a game, but also whilst in a game - laggy affairs even on UK servers (which I only go on) where my ping is around 15 - 30.

I don't know but it might be a rush job on the end.

multiplay.co.uk servers are usually good (ranked servers though).
