Hello,

If you're asking yourself "what is CATA?", then this thread is not for you... move along

For all you ex-CATA out there, I'm wondering how many are still actively playing PR and which armies and campaigns you were part of?

So I would ask a moderator to add a poll with the following options:

CATA 1 (C6/C7)
CATA 2 (C6/C7/C8 )
CATA 3 (C7/C8 )
Unified CATA (C9)

Ex CATA members can vote more than one option if they were part of more than one CATA Army or one of them plus the Unified CATA. NATO guys can create their own thread!

I would however ask all to also make a post mentioning the following:

- Which campaigns did you participate in?
- Are you still playing PR? If not, why?
- Are you in any clan or community?

I'm asking mostly out of curiosity. CATA FTW

I still play a good 8-10 hours a week with OD-S guys (mostly the North American members, but some Euro players don't sleep).

Hi guys, I even saw 0nil on a server the other day

I played in C7,8,8.5 and 9. From grunt to GSO. Tigers, Vipers and Cougars. Serious training, serious games and serious fun.

Yes, this CATA I think I heard of somewhere.

I have to say some of my best experiences in PR are thanks to PRT and the organization of CATA. The "training" courses were oddly fun, most of the time these kinds of things are bore-fests I try to stomach for the sake of being part of the tourney...the guys in charge of player orientation for CATA in C9 did a great job getting everyone into the spirit of teamwork and keeping things fun enough that we were actually engaged during the training sessions. I wish new players could experience the sense of "another gear in the machine" that came with being in the PRT, it added to the immersion ten fold.

But I have fond memories of CATA.

I have fond memories of you me and Em in CATA2, especially that battle on Qinling where we went armor while waiting for jets to respawn and we did a better job than the armor squad

Very good memories of that time. Also it's always great to meet some old players from that time by coincidence on pub games.

No Clan for me, cause I like to be free like a bird and the best "clan" I ever experienced was CATA and so everything else will be not as good as CATA&PELA, I stay clanless.

Not lately mainly because of work, or lack of time, but I do miss it. Second reason is no PRT, and no more old school players as before pubbing.
