Just curious

I have to say, Medic is pretty intense. I usually prefer kits like Assault or Grenadier in squad-based team games, but I really enjoy playing Medic in PR!

I always respect my medics, they do a good job at keeping me and my squad alive.

I'd go with machine gunner, specifically the M240

FN Mag on PR sucks, ROF is too low. MG3 all day, all the way.

I don't have a favorite class, but a favorite gun: M4 with EoTech sights.

Those sights on the M4 are the best, too bad it's only for officers though.

Indeed... Aimpoint is just horrible, so you need to choose between shitpoint and ACOG with poor CQB skills.

Officer. I love using the pistol in close quarters and building FOB's.

I love the insurgent limited kits like the PKM, RPK, and RPG. People complain about the insurgent weapons being **** but if you wait in ambush with a limited kit you can decimate a squad. The firing sounds are also awesome.

Doesn't the standard rifleman kit for Canada have an M4 with EoTech?

My favorite kit recently is either Russian alt LAT or Russian grenadier

Lately I've became quite fond of those Alternative LAT kits with the weaker 2 shots, to use against infantry. I also like Grenadier.

I like being a medic when I feel all team work and sh*t, and machine gunner when I feel like simply shooting. But also the satisfaction of placing an enemy on your sights, pressing the trigger and watch him fall over with the marksman or sniper kit.


But ultimately. Civilian FTW. You can dumb it down, make the most useful kit on Earth, but it will always be my favourite. (Making BLUFOR loose intel FTW).

Officer! You would think at this point in PR's life we would have better squad leads, but sometimes you get those really bad ones that don't know how to use squad-to-squad radio. My fix to this is to play squad lead 24/7.

I hope in PR2 we can get 2-man SPG teams. I am a better shot with SPGs than with TOWs. Once I shot down a moving Kiowa 700m away flying at 400m altitude, the luck is on my team.

Shortly after I posted this I found out all (or nearly all) Canadian secondary rifles have EoTech mounted. It's the best, wish Americans had the same.

I sometimes do 2-man RPG teams as an insurgent squad lead. You stay completely hidden in a building or ditch and when you hear an APC approach, you pop up and hit it with both RPGs at once.

The problem is that your squadmates have to be really patient and disciplined (if one guy peeks, the ambush is ruined) and getting two RPGs in one squad is usually really difficult.

So, yes, 2-man RPG teams (maybe for the Taliban) in PR2 would be awesome and encourage more teamwork, IMO.

Once did a five man rpg arty squad. Not super usable but very fun.

The non scoped 240 is my go to kit in the forest. I find myself out of ammo with it quite often.

That said 90% of the time I use the officer kit.

USMC medic, I always seem to do much better with the m4 than with the m16 playing as the usmc.

That or the British combat engineer to keep the land rover alive.
