Disclaimer: this is not a thread about asymmetrical HP points among factions
So, the question is: why so much HP? I can jump down from 3 floors without breaking a leg, take 3 5.56mm shots without getting wounded status and even a 7.62mm bullet straight to the chest. Who cares if there is bullets flying everywhete? If I get shot, I just fall back and use my patch.
HP should be reworked, it's just lame that you can take so many shots and do crazy jackass-like stuff and just bleed. I am not saying you should go instant dead-dead, but getting wounded more often needing to rely on your medic to help you to stand up after taking two shots to the chest on your body armor probably would make people to think twice before doing a dumb move endangering your character. This would probably increase tactics plus teamwork.

What game are you playing?

Well about the 7.62, don't most factions wear BP vests? Pretty sure a vest stops a 7.62mm, let alone a 9mm.
Falling from things is annoying enough as it is, as jumping from a small wall gets you bleeding.
I think it's fine to be honest.

This is not ArmA. I don't want to be disabled by one shot into the leg. This is the exact reason why 90% of PR players play PR and not ArmA. its the little arcade left in a MilSim giving you the perfect mix.
Health system could not be better.

I'm fine with how it is now. Besides, I've never survived a fall from the 3rd floor.

If damage were increased, the game would become an unbalanced mess in insurgency mode.
Remember the one shot kill bug? Insurgents were at a huge disadvantage. An AR would clip you in the leg from 300 meters away and you'd go down. Insurgents had very little chance of winning and it was utterly frustrating. If damage were increased like you're suggesting, it would be like playing with the one hit kill bug again and the whole game would probably have to be reworked for balance reasons.

In fairness the one shot kill bug (leg bug) happened to all factions.
I'm not sure but I think all fations have the same amount of HP. Only thing is that conventional factions have body armor that reduces damage taken from bullets by 25%? At least that was the way it worked a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

Here's the current damage system
Bullet Damage (for common calibers)
-5.45x39 = 36
-5.56x45mm = 39
-5.56x45mm (DMR) = 47
-5.8x42mm = 39
-5.8x42mm (DMR) = 55
-7.62x39mm = 45
-7.62x51mm = 50
-7.62x51mm (DMR) = 58
-7.62x51mm (SR) = 90
-7.62x54mm = 56
-7.62x54mm (DMR) = 65
-7.62x54mm (SR) = 82
-7.62x67mm (SR) = 95
-8.60x70mm (SR) = 100
ALL soldiers have 100 HP
Damage model of Conventional forces
5.56mm
-Head = 500%
-Torso = 100%
-Thighs = 170%
-Arms & Legs = 110%
7.62mm
-Head = 400%
-Torso = 115%
-Thighs = 170%
-Arms & Legs = 100%
Damage model of Unconventional forces
5.56mm
-Head = 500%
-Torso = 130%
-Thighs = 170%
-Arms & Legs = 110%
7.62mm
-Head = 400%
-Torso = 150%
-Thighs = 170%
-Arms & Legs = 100%

This one is new. How is the damage model in PR too forgiving? We've had plently of complaints of it being too harsh...
Especially the fall damage. You'll start being injured in PR earlier than I'd expect in real life, for the most part. Heck, just jumping into water from a few meters gets you bleeding, if that was true IRL I'd never jump into a pool anymore in my life.
