v1.2.1.0 USMC SRAW Straight Projectory

Description:
I was driving the BMP2 with a friend, and we spotted an enemy combatant with a HAT kit. We suppressed the hell out of him, and I'm sure we've killed him once he fired his HAT, but unfortunately, killed us in the process in an odd way.

Since the spiral patch, there's been two outcomes I've seen with guided missiles:
1) Spiral to destination, boom.
2) Spiral, operator gets killed, spiral discontinues flight path.

With this experience, neither scenario came out to be true.

Steps to Reproduce:
Kill a SRAW operator the second he fires.

Unless I'm misunderstanding the issue, this isn't a bug. The SRAW is fire-and-forget IRL (we can't completely represent that due to engine limitations). It would need no further input from the operator once fired, which is why it has no spiral in PR and won't go haywire if the operator dies.

Oh i was actually in the squad with that guy.

he said he knew some way to fire it immediately without waiting for the cross hairs to line up but i dont think thats related.

In any case in real life the SRAW has 2 fire modes. Both are not laser or wire guided so in some cases PR has it wrong. But it is fire and forget so once it leaves the launcher is going to hit its target (unless the target makes radical movements).

Yeah but those two other fire modes would basically make it a Javelin, not very fair.

Also I'm not sure any guided HAT has the spiral effect in-game think it is just TOWs. If HAT kits are supposed to have the spiral effect then yes I have noticed this bug to.

I was under the impression that all HAT kits (SRAW, MBTLAW, ERYX) had the spiral effect. I understand that the SRAW doesn't have that effect in the real world, but I thought it did in PR for some reason. I stand corrected.
