Sorry for not following the default bug report form. I have no idea how to reproduce and right now I can't get any settings about my PC and PR settings. Tell me if they are needed.

I was playing Jabal (third map in a row without any crashes or bugs) in FCV Alpha [LA] server (before Jabal was Wanda and before Wanda was Basrah) and I was a squadmember in an INF squad, not a squadleader. The bug was that on the left side of the screen I saw appearing random player names joining and leaving "my squad" as if I was a squadleader, e.g., if you create a squad and people join it or leave it, you get informed that "X has joined/left your squad", but, yeah, I wasn't an SL (I was a SM in all maps I played that session). The names that appeared weren't from the squad I played in. I think they were my teammates (though not too sure).

It was like my whole team was a squad that I supposedly led, and I got information about every teammember that had connected or disconnected like if I was a SL.

Sorry for chaotic manner of informing, but I thought that it's better than not informing about this bug at all.

This bug existed since forever and is a old vBF2 bug afaik. It only happens on rare occasions and fairly random. Nothing the devs can do about.

Oh, didn't know about it (never played BF2, just PR). Lock the topic then.

Isn't it normal to be notified when someone leaves/joins the squad, whether you're SL or not?

He's talking about the message of people leaving who werent even in his squad.
In order to fix it rejoin the squad.
