Now I'm getting this every time my computer restarts and I try to play PR.
"There was an error during the MCF install process and it has been stopped."
"Failed to download tools. [7.0]"
Please any help would be appreciated. Thanks "daddyhuff"

This is a Desura error.
If you have fast internet, I suggest downloading the torrent version of PR and installing that,
Downloads | Project Reality

In short, everytime Desura updates it's client, it breaks the version control history of PR and FH mods for BF2.

-----------------------

If you want to manually update PR:
1. go to Battlefield 2\mods\pr\mod.desc , open it in notepad.
2. find the line that says: <version> 1.2.1.0 </version>
It could be anything from <version> 1.0.0.0 </version> to <version> 1.2.1.0 </version>
Post back on this thread which version you have.

If it is anything less than 1.2.1.0
3. Go here: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... tches.html
Start downloading the patches you need in sequential order.
Associate the .prpatch file type with Battlefield 2\mods\pr\bin\PRUpdater.exe
Open the patches in sequential order, or you have to reinstall PR.

Right, you've now downloaded the .torrent file. You need a bittorrent client to open the .torrent file, which will then download the 1.2.0 .iso file

I suggest this freeware ad-free bittorrent client: qBittorrent official website
Download and install.
Open Qbittorrent, then Either drag and drop prbf2_1.2.0.0_full.iso.torrent into QBittorrent , or File->Open and find the prbf2_1.2.0.0_full.iso.torrent you just downloaded.

You now need to let QBittorrent download the 6.9GB prbf2_1.2.0.0_full.iso file.

After that, use WinRar to extract the files,
follow this tutorial:
