i was just doing a normal check in wireshark
and then i notice that:
http://oi59.tinypic.com/flbio1.jpg

Hundreds of packets coming back and forth to "74.55.51.162"
i asked myself, the heck is that ?

it turns out that 74.55.51.162 = Project Reality 2: Free Multiplayer FPS PC Game
what the fuck ?
i wasn't even connected or playing to any server/game/website that have something to do with PR.
and it's still does that.

every few seconds it's sending ACK ..
BS:S what's going on ?

That IP is also the IP for realitymod.com. But I'm not sure what would be causing that if you're not browsing the website or playing PR or anything. Try restarting your computer?

That's the thing ..
it does that all the time
and i tried to restart my pc, change to another IP and another class(subnet mask)
i even tried to change my public IP

always TCP - ACK - TCP - ACK - TCP - ACK -FIN/ACK - TCP - ACK -FIN/ACK etc...
my question is why so much packets are coming to that server ?
do you guys or the launcher/game programmers have something to say ?

i mean it doesn't affect my internet connection or something because it's only a quarter of the amount of packets sent in a minute (when im not downloading which includes multiplayer)

but still ... it doesn't suppose to contact that server at all.
what's going on then ?
