[v1.2] Chinese Norinco shotgun animation

Description:
The animation on the Norinco shotgun is somewhat broken: the shotgun appears to be too left from where it should be positioned on the soldier's hands, clipping through the left thumb and leaving a gap between the pump and the palm and fingers on the right side.

Steps to Reproduce:
Obtain Chinese Breacher kit. Switch to Norinco shotgun.

Tested On:
All Chinese maps, v1.2.

On an additional note, is the QBU-88 supposed to look like this (terrible textures)? All the Chinese weapons got overhauled and it's weird that the one that needed it the most didn't get treatment.

I don't believe any Chinese weapons actually got those new models.

I always thought the QBU was supposed to look like that. You know maybe it's dirt, or camouflaged, or rusty, or something?

No, it's vbf2.

They did, QBZ-95, QBZ-95B, QBB-95, QSZ-92 and the 982 shotgun all got new/improved models and textures.

QBZ-95...etc. looks the same to me. Still have the problems I pointed out years ago.

Also, at least officers should be using the QBZ-95-1, don't they? But I guess there's nobody to make a model of it.

Could you link me to where you pointed out those problems? I thought we fixed them, or at least most of them, with the new models. I'll be the first to say they aren't perfect but they're an improvement on the previous ones at the very least.

And yeah as much as I/we'd like to we just don't have the manpower to make the newer versions or update the QBU anymore.

Thanks for pointing it out either way.

It was a little more than 4.5 years ago.

Maybe I should take up modeling instead of trying to get new faction done.

Also, I would not mind if qbu88 gets swapped with svd after svd gets its accuracy fixed; qbu88 was known for unacceptable accuracy for a long time.

QBZ-95-1 is a lot more widespread; if squad leader is using one, so will everyone else in his unit.

Yeah, as Chuc mentioned it was taken in and the stock was scaled to match the width of the carrying handle/rear sight support

Granted, what is off is the smoothing on the corners of those vertical surfaces (bottom is sharp while top is rounded, should be equally rounded going by your picture), but the proportions were fixed along with a slew of other fixes and additions.

And sure I would definitely encourage you to try and take up modelling. It's fun, occasionally frustrating maybe but overall easy to pick up with a few tutorials to help you along, and there are enough people around here who can answer any questions etc. Wether you're making a faction or not it's a useful skill with future opportunities, although for purely putting a faction together you would probably benefit most from importing and coding knowledge.

Hmm, good. If you are really picking up modeling, fuck the older version! Make a QBZ-95-1 from scratch.
