Launching PR without the PR launcher for Oculus Rift support

I have an Oculus Rift DK2, and I've had it working with BF2. I'm pretty sure it'd be the best thing ever if I could have it working with PR - even without head-tracking the immersion is incredible.

The 3D injector I am using, Tridef 3D, works by launching the exe for you in 3D mode. I've had PR working on my Oculus Rift, up until the menu, where I get a message about having to use the launcher to launch PR.

My question is, can I launch the PRBF2.exe directly without seeing such a message? I've tried opening the launcher, then running the bf2pr exe, I've tried running PR through the launcher with the -multi argument, and then launching the bf2pr exe directly. Both to no avail.

I suppose this is a question for the devs more than anyone else. Please can you give me a way to launch without the launcher? Pleeeeeeease?

someone had tridef injector working for a 3D monitor at some point, have you tried searching for tridef on the forum?

EDIT: he got as far as you did and couldn't make it work:

You have to ask Tridef 3D support team. They might create a DDD profile for you so that launching PR is possible with Tridef

Yeah I might contact them. You'd think it'd be easier to run PR without the launcher though.
