Now before you flame and ban me, I DO NOT CONDONE EXPLOITING OR CHEATING IN ANY WAY! actually i really hate it almost as much as I hate n00bs(not newbies like those good to have sumone new in community{
Definition Here...in halo2 terms but all the same})
But people can easily place a piece of tape one middle of screen where crosshair is supposed to be, i had to do this for Project Im Going In(single) because my vid card doesnt work properly with it

not really an exploit, only helps with sniper rifles if anything, done it in bf42 doesnt work that well. IMO if you memorise where the crosshairs are on the screen you wont need to zoom in or need the tape.

well im not that good, and i belive it would give an advantage over those who dont, mainly because you could run and shoot, while other has to bring up sights and move slowly... alot harder

Well i hope PR add weapon sway and recoil so taping on your screen would only be for decorative purposes.

I'm pretty sure he's right, the point of them taking the crosshairs off is so spray and pray will work maybe.. 10% or even less of the time, even looking through your sights wont prove a 100% shot, there will still be sway if your moving, i beleive in this mod, the only way to get a 100% accuracy is prone, looking through sites, not moving, (and if they find a way to implement it) after a certain breathing pattern or whatever.

If we're really lucky they'll implement a system where we can move the weapon around slightly before the rest of the screen moves. That would mean one big piece of tape glued to your monitor in order to exploit it!
Adding weapons sway and recoil won't negate the 'misuse' of 3M products. One thin that might would be to make sure that the bullet exits where the end of the barrell is and make it so the player will hold his weapon sideways when running and sprinting.

i had a triangle piece of tape with a hole in the middle for sof. it was the best thing to use in colse up situations with the msg and shotty. it is so bold to see.
also used it in css for sniping without the scope.
but people you gotta understand that the sniper is not as accurate unles you are zoomed and not as powerful (not like that in real life. but it is in games useually)
probably to stop people from doing the above and getting good results.

theres only ONE game so far that i know of that does this. operation flashpoint. i think more games should follow with that.

Actually....
OFP is not the best example of this "freeaim" system I was thinking of.
Unpack your old UT -99 and download the mod Infiltration.
http://infiltration.sentrystudios.net/
There's something to "aim" for... (pun intended ofcourse.

)

Going off topic here but...
The developers of Infiltration has a new pet project going with the HL2-engine. Should prove interresting enough if they can get it out before HL5 is released...
Yup, Sentry Studios is slow but they've made one of the finest FPS mods ever! (In my opinion ofcourse...

)
One of the keys to why Infiltration is still such a good game is because Sentry Studios learned their lesson and didn't rush production just because the community became restless.

Wow, if people have to put tape on their screen to make them better, i feel sorry for you. Doesnt really take much to learn the physics of the game, just time and serious dedication. I wouldnt call this an exploit, id call this pathetic and lazy

...unless you're playing a game where there are crosshairs and only u don't use them atm because you need a clear screen to capture ingame footage.

I belive the game has values for accuracy in IS mode and crosshair mode (dont know the actual verbage of it). So they can easily make the spread of the gun more when in hip mode. Hopefully its not horrible like RO is but also not as accurate as no scoping in CS. A happy medium would be good enough for me. Like the spread on a shotty only with one bullet.
