surprise hummer vs. tank engagement & general awesome gameplay

In general I wanna remark on the amazing times I've been having and awesome stuff I've seen going down on the battlefield over the past few months, here's what to me was a big hilight:
Mounted up a 50 cal hummer, just me and the driver I think at this point, and we were on our way to the front line. I forget which level. But there's one spot between control points with a ridge line in the desert, and we were just moving up to cross it.
So over the ridge line comes the enemy main battle tank, and then stops. It's like 70m away, facing the opposite direction as us, and I'm looking directly over at him with the 50 cal.
Everyone yells about the tank and I see the main gun come rotating over. I couldn't see what the gunner on top was doing but I knew he must have seen us so I just opened up on him with the 50 cal.
Somehow, my guys in the hummer made it away. I think one of our guys hopped out of the hummer and actually smacked the tank with a HAT round. I was the only casualty, as the tank gunner and I basically got each-other at the same time. But me taking out their gunner allowed our HAT guy to do his thing.
The fun thing about that moment is that all three of us went into it in a total derpy out of it state of mind and snapped right into focus right away when it mattered.
Also today in a russians vs. US map, I managed to get my best K/D ever... which, when you see the number you'll realize what a noob I still am: 4 kills, one death. I forget which map has that great air strip near the coastline with a radio tower in it, but I had one french noob whose english wasn't so good and a smurf who was separated from his squad... and together the three of us nailed all their infantry that would have cut off our reinforcements that were flanking the control point.
I think the wave of noobs that I'm part of is starting to get the memo about teamwork and also placement
as in not being in dumb spots.
