Profile being forced offline

I did not see anything in the forums regarding this so sorry if this has already been posted somewhere before. My profile for PR is constantly being forced to go offline. What will happen is I will create a new account or retrieve an existing one and play online for some time. After attempting to use the profile for a second time it will be shown as an offline profile even though its actually an online profile.
Furthermore I cannot even play offline with it. The game menu music starts for a second and then the whole thing shuts down with an error sound but with no error report of any kind to be found. This issue isn't preventing me from playing but it is causing me a headache every time I want to play as it resets everything I've changed. The only solution is to create or retrieve a new profile every time I want to play.
This has occured with the most recent update as when I first started playing last year I did not have this issue. It has been going on for a few months and I would appreciate any insight to the matter. Uninstalling isn't something I've tried yet and this is actually the only issue I've ever had with PR so far.
