i also could not help but notice the large amount of connection error problems in the support thread lately is this a problem on my end or the servers?

prspy says there are servers up

What resolution is your monitor?
The login screen you are crashing on can not handle resolutions above 1920x1080 (or maybe 1900x1200)

Try
1. lowering your resolution before starting PRLauncher,

2. in PRLauncher, go to options
lower the resolution of the game,
untick the fullscreen mode tickbox
click apply.

then try to go back to the login screen that crashes and try again.

thanks for the reply !

my current screen resolution is 1600x900 as for lowering the settings in the game i cant see any option for that the only thing i can get to is the retrive account or create new account page which dose not show any option that i can see

i should also mention i had router problems recently where for what ever reason, it would use a proxy just thought that might be relevant information

thanks

Try these:
'[R-COM wrote:LITOralis.nMd;1980809']First a disclaimer: This is a C++ issue and I am not knowledgable in this language. Only a few guys on the PR team can actually troubleshoot this error.

Here is my best guess:

Guess 1: Reinstall this: Download Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4 from Official Microsoft Download Center

Guess 2: Uninstall, then clean, then reinstall this:
Try uninstalling and then reinstalling Microsoft .NET Framework 4 and Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1

Tutorial:
How to Repair the Microsoft .NET Framework - YouTube

Do not uninstall Microsoft .NET Framework 2 , 3, or 3.5 !!

offline installer for Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1
Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1 (Offline Installer) for Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008 SP2 Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 and Windows Server 2012 from Official Microsoft Download Center
