[Help!] Converting OFP models to PR:BF2

Hello.
I found an unfinished Chinese addon that contains P3D models of Type 56 assault rifle (Chinese AK-47 variant). Can this be converted and used in PR:BF2 instead of the AK-47?

Thanks in advance :)

I would assume so, but there isn't much reason to do it. If there is a strong need to add a type 56, it wouldn't be that hard to create using existing models...

ofc we cant use models from different mods and projects unless we get the permission to use it.

Ok thanks for clarifying that. I'm used to editing OFP/ARMA and changing stuff for personal use without having to ask for a permission. Is it the same for PR:BF2? Can I change the models for personal use? and if so, is there a guide or something to help me understand how it is done?

Thanks again.

There are a lot of guides still floating around on the PR forums and BF Editor forums.

You're allowed to do whatever you want with BF2 but there are restrictions regarding what you're allowed to release to the public.
i.e if its someone else's work, you can't release it without their permission.
