New Mumble issue

I've had my basic issues with mumble during the years.

The new problem I have, is not fixable by restarting mumble or restarting the game either.
Being an audio engineer I also know my speaker/mic setup is correct so the problem is not there.

facts:
1. I see myself in the right mumble channel (the right squad)
2. My in-game mumble icon pops up green/blue when I speak local and force
3. Other people can hear me
4. In-game I can't hear anyone speaking in mumble, on local or force. Other players mumble icon does NOT pop up.

I'm down to my last joint so I would be awfully thankful for fast advise.

If you run the setup wizard, are you able to hear the feedback from it?

Most probably your volume is completely turned down. When PR mumble is muted names wont show up. Go for the controls and set +/- for volume control and you should be fine.

solved this problem.
some how the mumble volume was turned all the way to 0% in the mumble audio config menu, even thought I had not touched it.

maybe what happened was:
after muting and unmuting myself the sound volume in mumble was bugged and stayed at 0%. Also the windows sound mixer was not controlling the mumble volume anymore.

So again, DEVs advice got me to the answer, after testing and hearing no test sound.

I was spooked that something bad was going on because I could not see other peoples mumble icon, but yeah tnx!

Good to hear it's sorted out, but in future please don't double post, and put it in the support section if you have further issues.

I just encountered this problem aswell, after wanting to go back to PR after a few months of not playing I installed the game, and PR mumble was at 0 % volume default, I tried everything but did not for one second think that was the issue, Good thing I stumbled upon this thread lol.

And I literally hadn't tampered with any settings beforehand it was just at 0 % after installing, very weird.
