It's been awhile since i fired up the BF2editor! Getting the itch.. BF2 was and is so much fun. I have BF3 and 4 and the graphics are Great but they are nowhere near as fun as BF2.

Hey Catbox, glad to see you back on the BF2 scene!
You planning anything with BF2, perhaps getting a new version of BFP2 out? Was such a laugh and would love to see my map finally get released with it hehe

BTW if BFP2 was going to get released again my Falklands map might be pretty good for some naval combat too, a bit on the big side (8km x 8km) but would be pretty awesome still

Could probably do well for some beer gliders too

You know I actually thought of that a while back

. Would be awesome to see the great Galleon and Frigates and get in some 50x50 player naval combat!
FYI Catbox, Rhino and me made the Galleon a sailable ship back then

Hey there, I still see 1/2 Hawk on Facebook and Steam once in awhile. No plans as of now for BFP2 releases that i am aware of... but it would be cool to get your Map(s) in a release if we did Rhino

Going to mess around with the editor tonight and try and remember how to make a map lol. ttys, CB

I'm doing music (and hopefully more) for a project that might interest you guys; old BFP hand here, and some members of my old clan (remember the Cut Throats?

) got working on a successor of that environment for Torque3D.

hehe we had a chat about it a year or so ago if you recall and how awesome it would be
I can foresee a massive engagement in the Falklands Sound (the big channel running between the main East and West Falkland Islands) with ships crashing into the banks trying to get a shot etc

Yeah, exactly! Man that would be so awesome... (especially after seeing a bunch of videos about the game Naval Action

)
For those interested:

(and yes, that Galleon is actually sailable now

)

I loved Pirates! Would love to see some naval component similar to 1942.
Music sounds great for Legends at Sea!

I'd like it more if there was something like Rheinuebung from Forgotten Hope, that map was so awesome.
