Triple monitor config issues

I've got 3 1280x1024 monitors rotated so I'm running 3072x1280. The PR launcher recognizes the resolution, but I can't get the game to start. It runs fine on one monitor running 1280x1024. If I try launching it in windowed mode, I get an error pointing to a folder I can't find saying something about 800x600. Everything I've found tells me to try editing a config file in the profiles folder, but I don't have a profiles folder. Please help!!!

Hmm, I'm not really an expert in this kind of thing. But it the spirit of helping where I can, my profiles folder in is (Drive letter) for example C: -> Project Reality -> Profiles. Once in profiles I looked in -> Local -> Default -> video. Opening the 'video' file in notepad gave me some settings options including:
"game.setGameDisplayMode 800 600 32 0"

Strange. All my PR stuff is in Program Files\Battlefield 2\mods\pr but there is still no profiles folder or video.con file. Or local or default folders. Do I have a bunged up installation?

open in a text editor:
\My Documents\ProjectReality\Profiles\Default\Video.con
\My Documents\ProjectReality\Profiles\0001\Video.con
and 0002 and 0003 for each profile you have, etc.
Edit this line:
Code: Select all
VideoSettings.setResolution 1920x1080@60Hz
to this:
Code: Select all
VideoSettings.setResolution 3072x1280@60Hz
You might need to set those video.con files to "Read only" in Window Explorer's right click 'properties' menu.
You probably need to use the widescreen fixer program also,
https://www.widescreenfixer.org/
That program limits the warping effects, especially the HUD overlays and menu overlays.

I don't have a profile folder. Can I just make a profile folder and create a text file named video.com with just that one line in it? Shouldn't PR or BF2 create a profile folder when I start it in 1280x1024?
I've already got widescreenfixer, but that doesn't help until I can get the game running.

I reinstalled and now have profile folders. I edited both the PR and the BF2 video.con files in all profiles. No good.
Here is a screen of the error I'm getting. Has something to do with DX9.
