The title is fairly self explanatory. For some reason if you try to spot in certain locations using the commo rose the red question marks do not show up on the map. This has occurred to me on every level and remains a problem as of v1.2.1. I have tried to eliminate certain factors such as distance of the UAV from location being spotted and the angle at which I am spotting, but nothing has made a difference. The video bellow shows the issue that I am talking about, if you look at the mini map markers do not appear in certain places.

Well, in fact i think that question mark is more kind of a bug than a feature. And if you click around the place you want to spot question mark will appear eventually.

The question marks are just a left over of the attempt to remove commo rose spotting. Using them could be considered bug-using, but everybody uses them so its fine. Question marks only appear on certain surfaces, like water, rocks, buildings and certain terrain. So if you try to spot something, use statics and similar around it, because trying to mark an enemy directly will always result in no marker at all.

I think the question marks could be removed, but there is no real need for it. It helps at identifying where the UAV or your vehicle is aiming, something you can do in real life as well. Same with the spotting of air assets, it could be removed, but offers a bit of "radar" function
Now for the consitency of spotting with this, we cant really do much about it. It is a Bf2 thing. Try to not aim anywhere close to vehicles, those are set to not a spotted icon and thus wont show up when you try to spot them. It is a bit tricky sometimes. If everything fails, try to look for landmarks etc (i know it is hard on Yamalia).

It should be a feature, but I understand that much like the mythical 9 seated vehicle such an addition cannot be easily implemented under the game's coding.

It is so useful.... when I command I want to know where I'm aiming lol. But I thought it wasn't a feature TBH, I knew that if it was, it wouldn't be a question mark lol
