tried to get .406 off 2 sites ,filefront and gamernode, and both came up with an error, source file corrupt. filefront was mere seconds into installing, stopped at abadan or whatever it is, and gamernode stopped near the end at ....objects\objects_client.zip. not too happy after over 6hrs for both and nothing. i wasn't doing anything during the 2nd d/l that might have caused a corruption. the first, turned off the scre3ensaver in case that had something to do with it while left alone to finish. any ideas? thx

try torrent download. can't go wrong

getting it now from torrent, after trying fileplanet which can be added to the corrupt list . hopefully torrent won't be the same

is this some conspiracy to keep people from getting PR ?
I;m sure I saw another thread about coruppted DL's last week or so.

If you get an error during installation you may just skip it.
Worked for me installing v0.32.

maybe it is a conspiracy. just got it off torrent and the .exe won't run. sits there doing nothing

Maybe its because the file is too big, and Windows can't handle a download of a certain size, I forget the size that it breaks at, might be different for different versions of windows and different system specs. If anyone tried downloading America's Army, they'll know what I mean.

well, whatever it is/was, the fileplanet d/l did install. tried to again on the off chance. thing is, a map will partially load then CTD. has this ever happened?

On the corrupt installers, double check available disk space. If the installer can't extract the files temporarily + install them (so prolly about twice the final space), then it might do weird stuff during the install.

If you've got map CTD problems, you may want to start another thread for that, as people won't expect it in this thread with the current title.

got more than enuff disk space. odd that the fileplanet woulodn't complete the instal, then after trying the torrent the FP does. gonna try again later to run PR and see what happens. had some odd things goin on last nite ??:
