So I just installed PR1.2 because I really enjoyed watching it on youtube and recently got a graphic card to work. No problems there. I enter this server about 20 people European and all is fine until I accidentally panic a fire one single bullet in a teammate, I apologized and hoped it wont have any consequences (Didn't even kill him). Now everytime I try to get in a server it is saying I am banned for excessive teamkill like wtf?!? How is firing a single accidental bullet in a friendly and apologizing later, EXCESSIVE?

It is probably because the server has two reserved slots, you can not join it. Try joining it when the server is at 97 people instead of 98. The message, is a auto message it gives when you get kicked because of reserved slots. What server was it, if i may ask?

Is it possible that it was not letting me join the previous one because it was a clan server?
If I remember correctly at the beginning of the server name it had =somthing=. It think thats the reason

So those it give you that message if either its full or is a clan server?

Don't think it's that mike cause reserved slots give you a special message 'you are not on the reserved slot list' or something similar. Same for full servers.

It's more likely you are actually banned Roses. Now please answer this answer truthfully, did you pirate the game by any chance? A lot of the cd-keys used in the pirated versions are already banned on a lot of servers cause griefers and hackers used these cd-keys too and got them banned. So if you have one of those keys it's highly likely you won't able to play ever on those servers.

In that case the best solution is to find a cheap digital version of the game somewhere(try amazon) and use a legitimate unique cd-key.

But yes it could have been a clan-server that wasn't locked and decided to kick everyone joining. Rather odd but entirely possible.

Yes that might also be the reason, would have never thought of that

Check up on amazon if you want to buy a copy if things don't work out, you can find it time to time as a digital download from what I've heard for pretty cheap, then you won't have to worry about your key being banned

It's not on steam anymore, I think the only option is amazon or local gaming stores, cdon.com still sells boxed and download version in Sweden(don't know if you can buy it from another country but I don't see why not).

I don't understand, are you sure there is a "buy game" button? I'm in sweden (don't know if it matters) and Steam only has a page for BF2 but no button to actually buy it..

The game is no longer for sale. You'll be lucky to find a physical copy anywhere other then a garage or rubbish sale.

It's really not that hard or rare. I just bought it on Amazon for $13 shipped.

I mean a new in box un-used copy that is not banned.

There is no buy button, because steam does not sells it. Its listed because people own it before it got unavailable.

yesterday i asked EA supporter about the retail copy of battlefield 2. I had given him a pirate bf2 cdkey then i passed some question of my security. After that he sent me a new retail key of battlefield 2, but it couldn't be activiated on origin because the game had been removed on origin and steam. Now i'm gonna use that code to active my account in pr hope it work
