[Modeling] Some Qustions

1. Is PR still using 3DsMax 2009 as the "official" tool or will newer versions work?

2. When modeling vehicle, like a HMMWV, do you need to model the .50cal weapons on the gunner turret? Or is the .50cal some sort of "PR or BF2 stock" model?

1. yes BUT its 3DsMax9, v9, that we use and NOT 2009. Big difference between the two and 2009 will not work with the BF2 export scripts.

2. If its a normal M2HB 50cal or another that exists in PR then you use the one in PR which is then attached to model as a child by code. This has the advantages of firstly not needing to make it, using the common textures as the other M2HBs use and means you have more space to play with on your UV map of the vehicle.
