Ok, lemme be simple. I downloaded the older zip containing the .iso from ModDB and planned to use the launcher to update. Only reason being I TRIED using the BitTorrent download for 1.2, and seeing that the continually download was going to take around ten days, I said 'screw that'. So, now I am sitting here, having downloaded the file and it says its either missing information, or corrupted. Both 7zip, and WinRAR are agreeing. Even tried just mounting it as was using a virtual drive, nada.

Is there some sort of trick, or something I'm missing to get this working?

Provide link of the page where you downloaded a file from.

If you click on the virtual drive with ISO mounted does it come out empty?

I dont think its an ISO. You need to unpack it and navigate to unpacked folder, then run the setup.

I've tried that, but it continually says that the Zip is corrupted or incomplete. That's the correct link, yes, and where I did download the file from. As for the ISO, I can't even unpack it to run it. I tried running the ISO from inside and nothing, the Virtual drive didn't even launch.

Here's what I keep getting:


The first of the two is 7zip, as you'll see it won't open. The second is WinRAR, and it opens, but cannot do anything with the file due to the error.

I dont have any known sources. Try this one.

Hit the BIG red download button to download ISO. The small one is torrent.

I'll give it a shot and inform you of how it goes, as it stands there's nothing I can do right now, I'm having to piggyback internet so download it might be a while. Thanks.

From there you can use a mounting tool (or windows 8 has one integrated)

From there you can follow the standard BF2 -> Patch 1.41 -> Patch 1.5 -> PR installation process
