1. How come when I play on severs I get random awards for doing nothing dont get me wrong it's great but why do I get them? ??:

Simple, ABR is retarded, and so is anything else that has to do with stats.

Well not everything...It's the fact that people are hardcore for stats.

ABR is Messed up in my opinion I missed First sergeant rank because my Basic AT and Pistol badge never showed up on stats... I was Playing on [PIT] and my pistol badge popped up but never made it to my stats. I was on GH West and had 15kills with AT and still no basic? .....And yes it was all before I hit the 20K mark......I guess you just have to play for fun.

It's actually kind of useful. It's like a kill confirm at the beginning of your play on any ABR server. As long as your squadmate didn't kill someone at the exact moment you think you may have killed someone.

I like the ranks and all, but its not important, if u rather play on an unraked abr server, go ahead, i find teamplay in Pr is on any server, but i know what u mean when you earn a badge and it does not show up, to my knowledge, it seems you have to wait a very long time befor the stats actually are recorded, 1 time on got a badge and i quite after the round was over and it said stats sent, but i nver did get it.

Is this a run once kind of thing? How does this work? Is this meant to resolve a glitch in the ABR client? I haven't heard this before. Does this download resolve an error or something? What's the idea behind this ABR anyway?

Ranks are very annoying and essentially pointless.

I did it once, but for some reason the fix only lasted a week or two.

ABR stands for alternate batlefiled ranking, that downl;aod is teh client, once u downlaod it and install it, put your acount name and password and go to the srver list, than you jsut join an ABR server like thorsbrigade, iGi, or gloryhoundz or something, and then once in you can see your stats and stuff in the BfHq screen, without the client u cant see your abr stats there.

I agree. I don't care about the stats or awards. I was looking for a way to prevent the dam servers from promoting me to the next higher rank every 20 seconds. That's really annoying don't ya think. I was wondering if this was some kind of fix to resolve that. Guess not huh?

Download the ABR client and those promotions every round are gone...

If you'd read the posts replying to your problem, you'd see that there is a fix, and it's been suggested.

Get the ABR client.

And ranks aren't so bad. They make it so n00bs don't get the commander spot and screw everything up. They're only bad when they give you unlocks, as it widens the gap between the 1337 and n00b, so to speak. We need a worker's revolution! Oh wait. Nevermind. Sorry.

Can someone explain to me how to use it, i've installed it.

Only thing I look for is for commanders and my SL to be above first private/segeant, so they aren't completely clueless. After you get used the game its essentially pointless. Still, i don't mind the stats, they're an intersting aside, i just don't chase them and wouldn't care if they weren't there.

Ahhh, my mistake. I thought you *were* the original poster, in which case it would have been disrespectful to ask a question, get a response, but not bother to read it and ask again. My mistake.

That ABR client will fix the constant promoting when you start at an ABR server.
