Bullet Crack Radius

Ok well after watching a lot of war footage, I came to the conclusion that the radius for the supersonic crack from bullets needs to be increased A LOT. Could someone do a little research into this and find out exactly how big the radius is and possibly have it implemented into .5?

I think that its been said that theyre being put back to how they were if you did them yourself in .32

this radius is really small. 1,5 meters around the player.
this is completely hardcoded. i did some research to go around this radius some time ago, but without any luck.
believe me, im the first who wants this radius way bigger than now....

Is it possible to make the suppresive bullet hit radius any bigger? For when a bullet hits close you get that effect.

I second that... would increase the use of the support kit.

Hopefully they get improved. The 0.32 soundmod did them better.

Can we make the crack louder. I mean loud enough to make you jump in your seat? Because right now they tend to get drowned out a little by other noises.

Even if the old one "cheated", it still sounded alot better. You know, most rendering techniques these days "cheat" on things to gain speed.. so don't rule it out just because it's not realistic. The only thing that matters is if it seems realistic...

i agree

i have to agree we need the realism thats why i switched to playing this mod in the first place it puts bf2 to shame so id rather have everything as real as possible :-D

Turn up the whole volume of Effects and Sound to 10/10 on bf2 engine

And voice over to .25/10
