At the moment it takes 15 seconds to reload a shell in the T-62. I suppose this is to reflect the lack of training the militia/FSA crew has.
Based on this video I propose to decrease the reload time:
(loud Allahu Akbars and tank exploding)
As you can see it only takes 9 seconds for the tank crew to reload.

Video shows T-62M and we only feature T-62, but i could not find any information that suggest a difference in reload times between them. Will wait a bit and see if someone has reasons to keep it at 15sec else it will be reduced to 10sec

Why would they let absolute beginners man the tanks anyways? Even they aren't that stupid
at 0:29 you see the man reloading. It took him approximately 9-10 seconds. More like 10 seconds. Although they did not show the whole operation (Fire the main gun - reload cycle, might actually take longer than 10 seconds)
E: I suppose the 15 seconds was taken straight from Wikipedia:
Each time the gun is fired, the tube must go into d?tente for cartridge ejection; the power traverse of the turret is inoperable during ejection and reloading operations. Since manual elevation and traverse are rather slow and not effective for tracking a moving target, rapid fire and second-hit capabilities are limited. The T-62's practical rate of fire is limited to 4 rounds per minute, which falls behind the capabilities of Western 105 mm gun equipped tanks
So it is not really up to the crew. Tank limitations, I suppose. So I do believe achieving faster rate of fire is not possible. I think that the reload time could be, at fastest, 12-10 seconds.

And pretend T-62 in game is a placeholder for T-62M(which was proven, by video, to have been used by FSA) and add ATGM capabilities?

I'd also like to see this to make the T-62 slightly less shit.

I like that. T-62M with ATGM and thermals and better armor.. would balance it against T-72. MEC already is OP when it comes to armor.
BMP-2M and T-72s and Eryx HAT vs T-62 with 15s reload time

Would need prove that the SAA uses the ATGMs though, which I haven't seen.

What's SAA?
I think the missile itself is pretty damn expensive? T-62 uses 9M117 Bastion (AT-10 Stabber).
Also T-62M can shoot the missile from its main gun (the tube) so there are no visible ATGM launchers on it. Maybe their (FSA's) T-62Ms have been stripped from those missiles, who knows.

Just because it can doesn't mean the Syrian army has the missiles.

I guess that's what I meant. FSA T-62M might have the capability to shoot ATGMs but they don't use/have the missiles.

We will not pretend that the T-62 is a T-62M.

But will you decrease the T-62 reload time?

I am not sure. Most sources state that the ROF is 4 per minute (15sec reload) and only some that it is 3-5 per minute (12-20sec reload). I think we could reduce it to 12 sec, i do not think that we will go down to the 9 seconds from the video.

The T62 should be almost destroyed be a hit from the Eryx. Where did you hit it? Could you make a detailed bug report about that?

I'd like to see the rate of fire increased a little. 11-12 seconds seems like a decent time and if those videos show support for that then perhaps it's a good call.

Tried hitting it from the front and it lived, shot it in the *** and it took about 15 seconds to go dead.
