Well i keep running into a specific error when trying to update PR. and it does this every time i try to launch the game and the updater kicks in. It goes to 100% then brings up a window with a file name and error number.

76:Update failed. Error validating file integrity after update.

C\Program Files (x86)\ EA GAMES\Battlefield2\renddx9x2.dll

It also states that project reality updater has stopped working but im assuming that this more then likely has something to do with the above error. would love to try this mod for battlefield 2... if i can get it to work that is.

Windows 8.1
Intel I5 3.5ghz Quad Core
Nividia 750TI 12gb Ram

Wasn't there some old issue with renddx files, was it the widescreen fixer with the vanilla 1.5 patch?
I lost a few renddx files once but after getting them and putting them back it was ok, when did it stop working and what had been done to change the computer?

Actually This is a first time setup on this comp. im running in a 1920x1080 resoulution

Ive run the game without updating and it seems to work fine but if i try to update it get that dang error message.

Ive actually tried this already to no avail i've even redownloaded the torrent with no success.
It does the same thing. However that deosnt mean i coundn't try again

Disregard all. Was able to get it working properly by replacing the file with one provided from this site and by creating a online account instead of a offline one.

Now to shoot some stuff. PS Moderators time to take this thread down.
