Inverted Pitch/Roll on joystick

Hi all, been trying to solve this issue on my own for the past 2 hours to no avail. I have an Av8r joystick (mouse just can't pull off those tight turns well enough) and when I try to map the pitch and roll in game, it keeps putting it in an inverse setting. The yaw is the only thing that's not inverted. Things to note:

1. I closed the profile editor
2. I tried assigning the pitch up by pulling the joystick down in hopes of inverting the inverted; didn't work
3. Tried mapping the keyboard keys to the joystick editor; didn't even register in game

I looked at the .con file but I don't know what the numbers represent. I was hoping I could simply add a negative value to something to invert the controls but I'm not sure where I'd put that.

If anyone can help me out, that'd be greatly appreciated.

Could someone with a joystick installed kindly help SillyMoose out please?
