This problem has suddenly appeared, and I can't quite figure out why.

Basically, if I try to run the launcher, I get the Windows message to allow me to run the program, then nothing happens. The launcher doesn't boot up.

PR2.exe works as normal.

I've tried re-installing PR 1.2 and BF2, but no joy.

Anyone offer any help? I'd love to get back to playing!

Give me some info please to troubleshoot this.
1. system specs,?
and which OS, ?
32 or 64 bit OS?

Does vanilla BF2.exe run correctly in offline mode?

Do you have .NET framework version 4 or newer installed? 4.5.2 is the newest and if you need to install it, please install that one. Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2 (Offline Installer) for Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2008 SP2, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2 from Official Microsoft Down

What antivirus and firewall do you have? Is either blocking PRLauncher.exe?

Problem solved!

I was unable to update to .NET 4.5.2 (already had .5.1).

I removed and re-installed .NET 4.5.1 and now the launcher works as normal.

Thanks for the help LITOralis.nMd, I was worried it was an issue with the PR files and not the .NET stuff.
