Win 8.1 random crash to desktop

I don't know what is wrong, but my game has started crashing 1-2 times on every single match.

No error messages or "cleaning resources". Same result as alt+f4. Most of times I have been in a vehicle (Scimitar, tank, technical, etc.) but it will crash even if I am on foot.

I am not running any special programs in the background. I noticed that Fraps causes more frequent crashes, so I don't use it so much.

Hiya Jacksonez__,

I really am not sure what to tell you, everything looks completely normal from here.
Try deleting your shader cache,
PRlauncher->Support->Utilities->Delete Shader Cache- Blue 'Perform Action' button
Then in video settings, lower your multisampling to 2X or 0,
click Apply.

Test PR.

I honestly don't know, it could be because you installed the game onto your desktop folder,
C:\Users\User\Desktop\Battlefield 2\Battlefield 2
It might be your antivirus/firewall HIPS protection, but that's a wild guess on my part.

Hey, thanks. I think clearing shaders was the thing. I also lowered the multisampling

If that doesn't work I think I'm gonna re-install the game under program files.

E: Played multiple games today and it didn't crash a single time. Clearing shaders worked out.
